'Why?' was the cry from my Mother! "Caravans! what will the neighbours say"

Caravan holidays have been often thought as something that your Grandparents did in the fifties, or indeed it was something that your parents put you through in the seventies, when their friends loaned them a static at the seaside and you sat inside, with the odours of cooking and gas, whilst listening to the rain beating down on the aluminium roof.

Yet the memories of the sunny days prevail, running around on the beach, pottering about in the seashell shop, buying up shells and dehydrated seahorses, not that we can do that anymore as we now try and look after our natural resources.  Ice cream, hot pavements, fish and chips, seagulls when at the beach.  Climbing rocks, fishing in lochs and lakes, picnics, paddling in streams, eels sticking to your fingers, slowworms under rocks, when in the lakes or in the Highlands.  These are great memories with parents and grandparents.

Caravans are back and back in style.  With firstly the recession, then fuel costs, taxation and strong euro, we do still want holidays, however we are investing in holidays for a lifetime.  No timeshare for us or holiday points.  We want freedom to just hitch up on a Friday, check the weather, point the car to where the sun is shining most and we are off...!

Keeping to the basics, we can travel light and be away in half an hour, making most of our time together, a warm welcome greets us at our favourite sites and children immediately play together!

Memories are made of this!

Younger families are interested in investing in a caravan, however have heard of horror stories of damp caravans.  As designers, with a pedigree in engineering and a love of caravans we are introducing caravans handcrafted by boat builders, making them lightweight and watertight. Being build like boats means that there is no MDF or fibre boards, to act like a sponge, our outer skin is fibreglass which means if you bump it you just fill sand and polish.  With our springback memory foam insulation, which is ultra performing we have the ultimate caravan for year round caravanning.
